About Printcraft

Printcraft is still owned and operated by Gord Meder and Chuck Keller, who first launched the business in 1977. Ten years later, the printing operation had outgrown the original premises and the staff and equipment moved to Picton. A new addition was added to the original building to house the current office supply and stationery store.

The same care is taken today, just as it was in the beginning, to make sure every detail is taken care of and that all work moving through the printing process is double-checked for quality and accuracy. Large print jobs are routinely handled but the same diligence is given to the smallest of orders. That's how a good reputation is earned.

In recent years, Printcraft has benefited by having Karen, Gord's daughter, join the team. Karen has a good eye for quality and colour and is dividing her time between running the digital press and staffing the store. Another family member is Heather, Chuck's daughter, presently the store manager who has been on board for more than seven years and has become very knowledgeable in the area of office supplies and stationery.

Other invaluable staff members are: Vivian, who assists in the store and keeps Printcraft's financial records in impeccable condition; Marie, who runs the design and graphics end of the process and makes sure incoming files are at their best before committing them to print; Lynn takes care of the bindery - carefully folding, numbering, trimming - and then wrapping and boxing the finished product before it leaves the building.

Printcraft is an Office Pro member Canada's largest office supplies buying group. This combination of expertise in the office supply field, offset and digital printing and the copy centre all run by motivated staff, has created a successful business that continues to strive for excellence in its daily activities.
